The Vendor Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining, and reviewing all documentation related to 3rd party relationship (vendors) to assess any risk that may be involved and ensure adequate due diligence is conducted on all interested (internal and external) parties.
Manage risk assessment and due diligence review of third party vendors conducted through the RMS Risk Committee.
Review and maintain all 3rd party vendor documentation in conjunction with Business unit owners.
Establish, maintain, and monitor rating system and category assignment for vendors.
Assist in contract negotiations for vendors and implementation.
Monitor vendor relationships for compliance and adherence to service level agreements
Responsible for vendor onsite visits and site assessments
Review customer complaints concerning vendors.
Maintain Vendor Management SharePoint site
Other job duties as requested by RMS.
College degree and 3 -5 years of related experience is required. The Vendor Manager also exhibits analytical skills, data integrity, strong follow up and customer service skills.
Ability to create and analyze pricing comparisons with cost benefits, product volume and other reports needed to monitor vendor performance and support initial vendor selection.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Must be available for national travel in order to conduct vendor site visits
